About the role
AVIAREPS Norway is looking for a Reservations & Ticketing Agent to join our team in Oslo. Based in our central Oslo office, you will be responsible for day-to-day reservations and ticketing operations in the Norwegian market. This is a hands-on and responsible role where your expertise, accuracy and customer focus can make a real difference.
In this role, you will work closely with travel agents and passengers, handling reservations, ticketing-related queries and customer cases while also supporting local sales and operational activities when required. You will be part of an international and multicultural environment, working with airline products, procedures and partners across the global aviation industry.
Your responsibilities
- Create and manage airline reservations using Sabre
- Issue, reissue and exchange airline tickets
- Process schedule changes, rebookings and fare recalculations
- Handle refunds and EMDs
- Handle customer claims and follow up on claim-related cases
- Apply airline fare rules, ticketing policies and procedures accurately
- Assist travel agents and passengers by phone and email
- Provide accurate information on flights, fares, ticketing and travel conditions
- Resolve reservation and ticketing-related queries efficiently and professionally • Handle relevant administrative and payment-related tasks
- Ensure a consistently high level of customer service while complying with airline policies and procedures
- Support local sales and operational activities when required
What we’re looking for
Required
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in airline reservations and ticketing
- Excellent, practical knowledge of Sabre
- Solid experience with ticket issuance, exchanges, reissues, refunds and EMDs • Good understanding of airline fare rules and ticketing procedures
- Experience with fare construction and fare recalculation
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills
- Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
Nice to have
- Experience working for an airline, GSA or travel agency
- Experience supporting travel agents in a B2B environment
- Knowledge of airline products, routes and ticketing procedures
- Experience with claim handling or customer case management
- Experience with airline sales or other commercial support activities
